The trial of nine Italians accused of activities linked to the FAInformale has now started, amongst the nine is former ALF prisoner Sergio M Stefani. Italian trials are notoriously long so please don't expect any quick news results. However what has happened so far is that five of the
defendants who were on remand, David, Simone, Marco, Claudia and Stefano, have been released from prison under strict house arrest. Sergio was already under house arrest at the start of the trial. The other three defendants, Massimo Leonardi, Danilo Cremonese and Valentina Speziale, remain in prison. With the three remaining prisoners they have all been transferred to a new prison. Their new addresses are:
